Meth bust on Highway 151

GRANT COUNTY, Wis. (KWWL) -

An area man and woman are facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office say they were conducting a traffic stop on Highway 151, after receiving a report of theft at Wal-Mart.

They discovered methamphetamine in the car, but also ingredients and supplies for making it.

Herbert Muntz, 56, of East Dubuque and Rachel Henkel, 36, of Dubuque were both arrested.

They are charged with possessing materials for manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.

Henkel is also charged with theft for the stolen items from Wal-Mart.

Muntz also charged with operating without a valid driver’s license and cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle.
