HAMPTON (AP) -

An Osage man accused of molesting a teenage boy and plotting to kill him using a method inspired by the TV show "Breaking Bad" has been found guilty.

It's been reported that 52-year-old Mark Retterath was found guilty Friday of attempted murder, solicitation to commit murder and third-degree sexual abuse.

Prosecutors say Retterath began the abuse when the victim, now an adult, was 13.

Authorities say Retterath bought castor beans and intended to extract ricin from them last year to poison the young man after he reported the abuse.

Officials say Retterath got the idea to poison the man after a friend told him about an episode of "Breaking Bad" in which the main character used ricin derived from castor beans to kill another character.
