Offender fails to return to Waterloo Work Release Facility

Waterloo Police and the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office are looking for a man who failed to return to the Waterloo Work Release Facility.

Mikal Davis failed to return after a temporary furlough. He was transferred to work release June 22, 2016.

Davis has been sentenced to 20 years for assault causing serious injury, theft first degree, theft second degree, burglary second degree, two counts of burglary third degree, and possession of Marijuana. 

Davis has tattoos on his left forearm, right forearm, left hand, right hand, and neck. He is 6'2" and 200 pounds.

If someone has information on his whereabouts, contact law enforcement.
