According to court documents, the trio robbed the Palo Savings Bank on May 20, 2016.  Monden and Mosley went into the bank wearing black masks and hooded sweatshirts.  They yelled at the employees, going teller to teller filling their pockets and a backpack full of cash.

Pihl was waiting outside in a getaway car.  Witnesses say they saw Monden and Mosley running from the bank, along with the car leaving the scene.  They were stopped shortly after by a Linn County Sheriff's Office deputy and taken into custody.
