East Iowa Storm advances to UFL title game

The East Iowa Storm rallied for a 24-20 win over Omaha to advance to the Unified Football League championship game.

The Storm struck first on Saturday night as Dillon Anderson connected with Amir Robinson for a 12 yard score on their second drive.

After a costly turnover on special teams, Omaha tied the game at 6-6 on a a 10 yard touchdown strike from George Oliver to Darnell Grier. Minutes later J.T. Nabity picked off Anderson near midfield and rumbled to the endzone for a pick six and a 13-6 halftime lead.

East Iowa rallied outscoring the Outlaws 18-7 over the final 30 minutes to pick up the UFL North Division title..

The Storm will play for a league title on August 13 in Kansas City.
