UPDATE: 2 arrested, woman beaten with chain

UPDATE: Two men accused of attacked a woman are identified.

Waterloo Police say Taylor Morrow, 18, and Tony Morrow, 44, were walking near the 1200 block of Ackermant Street threatening people with a rifle.

After both men were arrested, Taylor Morrow was charged with Assault with Intent and Going Armed with Intent.

Tony Morrow was charged with Disorderly Conduct.

At the time of arrest, the realistic looking rifle was seized and determined to be a BB/pellet gun.


Two men are taken to jail for beating a woman with a chain.

Waterloo Police confirm a firearm was taken from the scene, but it didn't appear any shots were fired.

Police were initially called to the 1200 block of Ackermant Street around 2:30 p.m. Saturday for a complaint of a man with a rifle.

Witnesses say children were in the area, and saw the incident take place.

When officers arrived, they had to tell one of the suspects to get on the ground at gunpoint.
