Police respond to U.S. Bank robbery in Coralville

CORALVILLE (KWWL) -

Officers respond to a bank robbery in Johnson County.  Police say a woman robbed the U.S. Bank at 506 10th Avenue in Coralville.  

Employees say it was a black woman, about six-feet-tall and 200 to 250 pounds with long wavy black hair.  She was wearing a white shirt, blue hospital scrub style pants and sunglasses, with a tattoo on her left arm.

Police say she handed the teller a note demanding money and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.  She left in a gray/beige car with a man driving.

No weapons were displayed and nobody was hurt. 

Iowa City Area Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of this suspect. Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 358-TIPS (8477).
