Although he received several cuts on his head, a Black Hawk County man refused medical treatment, after losing control of his motorcycle in an accident Friday morning near Evansdale.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office reports 53-year Todd Caldwell was going too fast and failed to negotiate the I-380 northbound off ramp curve onto River Forest Road in Evansdale. Caldwell's motorcycle went off the road and rolled over.

The accident happened just after 7:30 Friday morning. The Sheriff's Office says the Covenant Medical Center Paramedic Service arrived on the scene, but Caldwell refused any medical treatment.
