WATERLOO (KWWL) -

It's a crime the public may be able to help solve.

One person is dead and two people were wounded after a shooting in Waterloo.

Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward. They are asking the public for any information that will help officers arrest the person who shot and killed Otavious Brown.

Someone shot the 21-year-old in the chest around six in the evening on Sunday, July 17th.

He later died in the hospital. The shooting happened in the 800 block of Logan Avenue.

No arrests have been made. Investigators believe because of the time and location, people in the community may have information to help solve this case.

That's where Crime Stoppers comes in. If you have any information, you can call Waterloo Police or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers at 855-300-TIPS (8477).
