Two people are dead, including Nebraska punter Sam Foltz, and another man was injured in a car accident in Wisconsin Saturday night.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department says a vehicle heading westbound on Beaver Lake Road in Merton, northwest of Milwaukee, lost control on wet pavement, left the roadway and struck a tree just after 11:30 p.m.

The driver, 24-year-old Michael Sadler of Grand Rapids Michigan, and his passenger, Foltz, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A second passenger, 21-year-old Colby Delahoussaye, of New Iberia Louisiana, was taken to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The sheriff's department says speed appeared to be a factor in the crash.

Sadler punted for Michigan State from 2009-2014. Delahoussaye is a kicker for LSU and is entering his senior year.

The three had attended a kicking clinic at the University of Wisconsin.

A prayer vigil is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday on the north side of Memorial Stadium at the Tom Osborne and Brook Berringer statues.

The public is invited to attend.
