HARDIN COUNTY (KWWL) -

UPDATE (1:45 p.m.): The Iowa State Patrol has named the people involved in the accident.

According to the agency's accident report, 34-year-old Lucas Lodermeier of Zearing, Iowa, died when his tractor trailer hit the back of another tractor trailer that had rolled while traveling westbound on Highway 20.

The other tractor trailer was being driven by 30-year-old Alberto Sosa, of Melrose Park, Illinois. The report says Sosa's truck lost control and rolled onto the passenger side. Lodermeier's truck, which was traveling in the same direction, then struck the other truck while it was on its side. Lodermeier's seat belt apparently cut on impact from the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sosa, as well as a passenger in his truck -- 27-year-old Martin Feliz -- were both taken by ambulance to the hospital for injuries sustained during the accident.

Iowa State Patrol says four other emergency crews assisted at the scene of the accident.
