Manila, Philippines (KWWL) -

Former Cyclone Melvin Ejim scored 19, but it wasn't enough to put Canada in the Olympics as they fell to France 83-74 in the final of a last chance Olympic qualifier.

Ejim did all he could in the game hitting 7 of 10 shots, including going 4 for 4 from 3-point range. The former Iowa State forward also grabbed 3 rebounds. Toronto Raptor Cory Joseph led team Canada scoring 20 in the game.

France, the 5th ranked team in the world, got 26 out of San Antonio star Tony Parker in an effort that sealed a bid in the upcoming Olympic games.
