WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A 20-year old Waterloo man is facing charges after police investigate shots fired in downtown Waterloo early Sunday morning.

Reports of shots fired in the 300 block of West 5th Street came in just before 2 a.m. Waterloo Police say no one was hurt but they did find shell casings in the area.

Waterloo Police say witnesses told officers a black 2006 Chrysler 300 was involved. Officers found and pulled over a car that matched the description a short time later. It led to the arrest of Davon Caldwell.

Caldwell faces several charges including intimidation with a dangerous weapon, reckless use of a firearm and 3rd degree criminal mischief.
