DNH rallies for 3-2 win over #22 Don Bosco

Dike-New Hartford rallied for three runs in the seventh inning as the Wolverines took down #2 Don Bosco in a battle of two of the best squads in Eastern Iowa.

Don Bosco (27-4) grabbed the early edge as Caleb Rigdon scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Brandon Bagby in the second inning. The Dons added another in the fifth on an RBI base hit up the middle by Cade Schares.

Dike-New Hartford (26-2) rallied in the seventh tying the game as Jakob Luna and Clayton Maple drove in a run apiece. Jacob Moore scored the go-ahead run coming in from third following a wild pitch from Don Bosco's Baylor Bedard.

At 26-2, DNH sits tied with top ranked Wilton for the best record among all classes in the state.
