Famous athletes and celebrities came together to tee off for a golf tournament put on by one of Iowa's own, Zach Johnson.

The Zach Johnson Foundation Classic is about giving back to the community.

Money raised goes to a program called Kids on Course, which helps kids in Cedar Rapids.

The unofficial number made this year between the golf tournament, gala and auction is $938,000.

There was no need to look too far to find a familiar face, from Jordan Spieth to Bachelor stars.

"I'm gonna shank a few balls and have some fun," Bachelor Star, Chris Soules told us.

This was the sixth year for the Zach Johnson Classic, charity golf tournament.

"We all know what we're supposed to do and as a result this thing continues to get bigger and better, quite frankly when it gets down to it I get my guys, that's pretty much my biggest role and I pray for good weather and this year we got it," Zach Johnson says.

Johnson, continuing to give back to his home city of Cedar Rapids.

The Kids on Course Program helps kids get on course to graduate college by offering tutoring and a variety of opportunities.

Johnson had help this year, from many of his famous friends.

"Whenever we get a chance to get out and give back a little bit, and get out of our normal routines which is crazy, it's good to get out and play golf and try not to embarrass yourself," says Willie Robertson, star of Duck Dynasty.

"I think Rickie said it best last night, if you aren't like investing in other people or spending time investing in other people, then what's life all about," Ben Higgins, a Bachelor star told us.

"It gives you goosebumps, and I'm just proud of my state and proud of the things that this foundation and Zach is doing," Soules says.

"The Zach Johnson Foundation does so much for kids here, the education that they're giving these young kids and the opportunity they're giving them is absolutely fantastic," said Alfonso Ribeiro, Actor, current Host of America's Funniest Home Videos and winner of Dancing with the Stars.

Zach Johnson continues to make his home state proud.

The Kids on Course Program is offered at three elementary schools and two middle schools in Cedar Rapids, they're schools identified as having a high need and low resources.

The Zach Johnson Foundation fully funds the Kids on Course program.
