CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Finding loving homes for felines is a challenge in any season, and never more so than during the spring and summer.

This is the time to adopt a cat if you have been thinking about it for some time.

Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control has no shortage of cute and cuddly, or mature and mellow, cats and kittens waiting for a new home.

Kitten adoption fees will be reduced to 2-for-1, or just two kittens for $90.

Cats that have been at the shelter for three months or longer will be offered free to senior citizens, members of the military, veterans, or their spouses.

The Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control Center is located on the Kirkwood College Campus at 900 76th Avenue Drive SW, Cedar Rapids.
