U.S. Open Continues; McIlroy misses cut, Zach Johnson Sits at +2

The U.S. Open continuing today at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania and the #3 ranked golfer in the world has missed the cut.  Rory McIlroy notched a double-bogey on the 18th hole to finish with a 71 on the day, that followed at 77 he shot in the first round.  It was the first time McIlroy has missed the cut in a major championship since 2013.  Cedar Rapids native Zach Johnson is still in the hunt, Johnson shot a 69 on the day and at the moment that is good enough to have him tied for 14th.

Lee Westwood, Dustin Johnson and Andrew Landry are all tied atop the leader board at 3 under par, the U.S. Open will come to a finish tomorrow.
