LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -

One person is injured in a two vehicle accident in Linn County Tuesday.

Around 1 p.m. on June 14th, Linn County Deputies, Linn County Rescue 57, the Marion Fire  Department and Area Ambulance Service arrived at the intersection of County Home Road and North Alburnett Road.

A College Community School District School Bus for Prairie hit a car after running a stop sign.

The school bus was driving around 20 students to a baseball game when the crash happened.

The students, and driver Bryon L.W. Burkey, 58, were not injured.

The car's driver, Anne B. Wikle, was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

She was the only passenger, and the Linn County Sheriff's Office believe her injuries are non-life threatening.

Burkey was cited for failing to stop at the stop sign.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and the Linn County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash.
