Former NBA point guard Nate Robinson is one step closer to realizing his dream of playing in the NFL.

The 5'9" Robinson had a tryout today with the Seattle Seahawks, but isn't expected to be signed.

The 32-year-old played defensive back at the University of Washington in 2002 and intercepted two passes in 13 games before shifting his focus to basketball the next year.

Robinson has been playing basketball in Israel, after appearing in two games for the New Orleans Pelicans this season, but likely knows his NBA career is over.

The 180 pound Robinson was perhaps best known for being a 3-time NBA Slam Dunk champion.
