Iowa State student crowned Miss Iowa

DAVENPORT (AP) -

Kelly Koch, of Waukee, has been crowned this year's Miss Iowa.
   The Quad-City Times reports that the Iowa State University student was crowned Saturday night and will represent the state in the Miss American Pageant the week of Sept. 6 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
   Koch entered the pageant as Miss Polk County. She was one of 17 women competing in the annual pageant, held at the Adler Theatre in Davenport.
   Miss Scott County's Johannah Vittetoe was named first runner-up. Other finalists included second runner-up Jessica Baker, who is Miss Pearl City and third runner-up Meredith Olson, who is Miss Metro. Fourth runner-up was Miss Cedar Valley, Molly Schunicht.
