Incumbents win nominations in Black Hawk Supervisor race

Two incumbents and a newcomer won nominations to be on the ballot in the race for Black Hawk County Supervisor in November.

The Tuesday Democratic primary featured a field of five Democratic Supervisor candidates, with the top three moving on to the General election.

Democratic Primary voters gave Incumbent Black Hawk County Supervisor, Linda Laylin, the most votes with 2,418, while incumbent, Tom Little, garnered 2,047.

Chris Schwartz won the third Democratic spot available on the November ballot, with 1,951 votes,

Ron McLaughlin received 1,096 votes and Brad Condon 933.

There were no Republicans in the primary election for Black Hawk County Supervisor
