Iowa City Animal Services schedules no-cost microchip clinic for dogs

Posted: Updated:
IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa City Animal Services will hold a free microchip clinic for dogs Saturday, June 11th at MidWest One bank on Keokuk Street.

Dogs will be serviced on a first-come, first-served basis, rain or shine.

Owners will have to sign a waiver and fill out a form with basic contact information, and dogs must be properly restrained and on a leash throughout the event.

Microchipping is a permanent procedure which is fast and easy.

It helps to quickly reunite lost dogs with their owners.

The clinic starts at 9 a.m. and runs until noon.
