An Iowa man is arrested for marijuana operation

An Iowa man is arrested after a week long investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office that led authorities to find a growing marijuana operation on Tuesday.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant for suspected drug manufacturing located at 18181 Cedar Road in Elgin, Iowa. During their search, authorities found and seized numerous marijuana plants, over 200 grams of processed marijuana packaged and ready for distribution, two firearms, scales, cash, and paraphernalia. 

Various charges have been filed against Corey Brian Schroeder, age 39 and Anthony David Zieser, age 32 that include possession/manufacture/with intent of the controlled substance of Marijuana, failure to have drug tax stamp, possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Zieser was arrested at his place of employment and was taken to the Fayette County Jail where he is waiting for his court appearance. Schroeder, however, has not yet been found.
