Iowa gas prices go up again; now average $2.32 a gallon

The increasing trend continues, as gas prices in Iowa have gone up 6.3 cents per gallon in the past week. GasBuddy reports prices in the state now average $2.32 per gallon.

The national average has increased three cents per gallon in the last week to $2.32 a gallon.

GasBuddy reports prices Sunday were 33.9 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago, and 17.2 cents per gallon higher than one month ago. The national average increased 11.1 cents per gallon during the last month.

According to GasBuddy, prices in and around Iowa report as follows:


 Quad Cities- $2.19/g, up 0.5 cents per gallon from last week's $2.18/g.
 Des Moines- $2.52/g, up 8.1 cents per gallon from last week's $2.43/g.
 Omaha- $2.29/g, up 6.9 cents per gallon from last week's $2.22/g.
