Patty Judge Celebrates Memorial Day in Waterloo

Posted: Updated:

This weekend three candidates were in Waterloo discussing why each of them would be the best candidate. Missing from the group, Patty Judge.

According to the pastor of Mount Carmel, Judge did not respond to their invitation. We later were told judge was in Des Moines speaking at the annual Asian Heritage Festival.

Judge stopped in Waterloo today, spending her Memorial Day honoring veterans at the Iowa Veteran's Cemetery and finished out her afternoon touring the Sullivan Brothers Museum.

Breaking from her tour, judge told KWWL about the upcoming election.

"People know me, they know exactly who I am, they know that when I tell them something it's the truth. They know I am going to work very hard for them because that's been my history," said Patty Judge.

Judge says Washington is not talking about the things that are important to people and new blood is needed in the nation's capital.

"I'm coming in there with new ideas with a willingness to work across isle to make things happen for people again, rather than just the stonewalling and the political posturing that is going on in Washington today," said Judge.

Judge continued to say that Washington is no longer working and that they are tone-deaf.
