Lifeless and paralyzed at 16, now he's walking across the stage for his high school graduation.

After a stroke put him in a wheelchair, Hunter Stoneburner thought he'd never walk again.

Two years and two brain surgeries later, he's beats the odds, walking across the stage at his graduation in Des Moines this weekend.

"There were a few times I wanted to give up but I just kept on fighting," said Stoneburner

"I'm excited, lots of emotions going on," said Kristy Steltzer, Hunter's mother. :Just thinking back to where he was, where he`s at now

He plans to take some business classes at community college. He hopes to open up his own business one day.
