DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The Dubuque Fighting Saints have their backs against the wall after falling 4-2 on Saturday night to Tri-City. With the win, the Storm took a 2-0 lead in the best of five Clark Cup Finals series.

For the second night in a row, the Fighting Saints scored the opening goal with Carson Vance firing a shot to the back of the net from near the blue line. Tri-City, however, countered when Wade Allison took a Dan Labosky pass from behind the net and beat Hunter Miska tying the game 1-1 at the first intermission.

The Storm then got a pair of quick goals as Labosky scored on a breakaway and then fed Allison on a 2 on 1 rush for a 3-1 lead. Casey Johnson got one back for Dubuque just before the final intermission, but that would be the final tally for the Saints as Labosky added an empty netter to give Tri-City the late 4-2 lead.

The loss puts Dubuque in a tough position as they'll need to win both games at Tri-City next week to try and force a winner take all game 5 back on their home ice. Game 3 is set for Friday night at Tri-City.
