CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Blaize Cabell needed less than a minute pinning his way to first place in the Last Chance Qualifier for the U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team Trials.

The UNI senior put former Iowa State national champion David Zabriskie on his back just 55 seconds in to 125-kilo final on Saturday afternoon in the UNI-Dome. The victory came just weeks after Cabell was forced to skip the NCAA championships doe to an illness.

Cabell will join former Panther Joe Colon at the US Freestyle Team Olympic Trials next weekend in Iowa City. Another former UNI wrestler, Jordan Holm, will compete in the Greco-Roman division.
