Hawkeye Baseball beats Bradley 7-6 on walk-off game winner

Iowa Hawkeye Senior Nick Roscetti’s with an RBI single with one out in the bottom of the ninth sent the Hawk baseball team to a 7-6, walk-off victory over Bradley on Tuesday night at Duane Banks Field.

The Hawkeyes trailed 6-5 into their final at-bat heading into the bottom of the ninth. Senior Eric Schenck-Joblinske from Dike-New Hartford led off the inning with a triple off the wall. 

Iowa  freshman Zach Daniels from Cedar Rapids Kennedy helped get the tying run home, reaching on an RBI fielder’s choice.  He moved to second on a Brave throwing error. Daniels recorded his first collegiate pitching victory for the Hawkeyes which improved to 7-11.
