Wartburg clinches 12th team title, sends 5 to finals

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Wartburg Knights are champions again.

Wartburg sent five wrestlers to Saturday night's championship matches, clinching their 12th national championship during the morning session.

The title ties Augsburg for the most in NCAA Division III history.

The Knights went 5 for 7 during semifinal round action.

Their team title is the 5th in the past 6 years.

Final matches get set to go at 7:00 inside the U.S. Cellular Center.
