#8 Maryland Ends #3 Iowa's Nine Game Winning Streak

The 8th ranked Maryland Terrapins used a late charge to take down the 3rd ranked Iowa Hawkeyes 74-68, ending their 9 game winning streak and giving the Hawks their first Big Ten loss of the season.

Maryland's Robert Carter Jr., and Rasheed Sulaimon each scored 17 points and defensively Maryland held Iowa star forward Jarrod Uthoff to just 9 points, less than half his season average.

Iowa was lead in scoring by Peter Jok who had 14 and center Adam Woodbury had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

It's Iowa's first loss since December 10th, next up for the Hawkeyes a matchup at home with the Northwestern Wildcats.
