A new Iowa poll says Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has taken the lead with strong support from men, very liberal and younger voters, but the former Secretary of State is close behind.

Sanders has 49% support according to a new Quinnipiac Poll released today. Hillary Clinton has 45% support, and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley has 4% support.

This is virtually unchanged from results of a January 12 survey showing Sanders at 49%, Clinton at 44%, and O'Malley with 4%.

Today, 2% are still undecided. 19% of those who name a candidate say they might change their mind.

Quinnipiac polled 606 likely Iowa caucus-goers between January 18-January 24. The margin of error is +/- 4 percentage points.
