GasBuddy: Gas prices rose 10 cents in Iowa last week

Despite the prices seemingly still low at the pump, GasBuddy reports gas prices in Iowa have risen 10 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.93 a gallon Sunday.

The national average reportedly fell 6.5 cents per gallon in the last week to $1.90 a gallon.

GasBuddy finds prices in and around Iowa as follows:

Areas nearby Iowa and their current gas price climate:
 Quad Cities- $1.77/g, up 1 cent per gallon from last week's $1.76/g.
 Des Moines- $2.05/g, up 16.4 cents per gallon from last week's $1.89/g.
 Omaha- $1.80/g, down 4.8 cents per gallon from last week's $1.85/g.

Prices Sunday were 1.8 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago, and 1.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average fell 10 cents a gallon during the last month.
