Iowa Women Ends Two Game Skid With Win Over Wisconsin

Posted: Updated:

The Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team took care of business topping the Wisconsin Badgers 57-54.  The Hawkeyes (13-4) had lost two in a row coming into this game but handled the Badgers 51-35 through the first three quarters.  Wisconsin made things interesting in the fourth quarter but Lisa Bluder's squad was able to hold on for the three point win.  Iowa City West Grad Ally Disterhoft led the way for the Hawkeyes with 18 points, on 8-9 shooting from the floor.  Whitney Jennings also pitched in with 11 points.  Next up for Iowa a tough road matchup with No. 18 Michigan State in East Lansing.
