KWWL's Jessica Hartman finding people are rushing to install remote starts in their cars.

And there is no complicated answer as to why so many people are spending the money, even the most seasoned Iowa winter veterans say they just don't like to be cold.

"People are just spoiled. We don't want to be cold." said CVSi Motorsports owner Tim Weber.

CVSi Motorsports has seen an increase in installations in recent weeks.
Installing an average of 8 a day and are booked nearly two weeks out.
"Business is pretty good right now," said Weber.

With weather like it is outside, its nice to stay toasty warm inside while your car starts out there. Its a convince people say they can't live with out.

"Yea I really want to have the warmth as much as I can get, so this is making due until I can move to Arizona or somewhere warm," said customer Angela Clausen.

Even if you are use to Iowa temps, many say they still don't want to live with out it.

"I grew up in the cold, I hunt in the cold, I am in the cold all the time. It is still a convince to have an automatic start on my truck," said customer Derek Leyen.

Its a convince and comfort that is worth the cost.
"We see more that people are just willing to spend the money to be comfortable. No one wants to go out and scrape their windows or get in a cold car after work," said Weber.

Several people also said it is a time saver for them.
They are spending more time on things they enjoy rather than scraping ice.
