DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Authorities arrest a woman accused of beating her ex-husband to death with a baseball bat.  Dubuque Police found 72-year-old Gary Breckenridge's body in the 29-hundred block of Jackson St. last week.

Police later found his ex-wife, 62-year-old Dolores Flynn at a local laundromat.  Flynn allegedly told a family member she hit Breckenridge multiple times with a bat and hid it in a ditch near the home.

Investigators later found the bat, and traffic cameras in the area apparently show Flynn walking to and from the spot where the bat was found.  She was arrested at Mercy Hospital today on a warrant for Second Degree Murder.  She is being held in the Dubuque County Jail on $500,000 bond.
