How low can they go? Gas prices keep falling

Gas prices in Iowa have fallen 3.6 cents per gallon in the past week to an average of $1.83 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.

The national average fell 1.8 cents to $1.97 in the last week.

GasBuddy reports prices in and around Iowa as follows:


 Quad Cities- $1.76/g, down 2.7 cents per gallon from last week's $1.78/g.
 Des Moines- $1.89/g, down 4.4 cents per gallon from last week's $1.93/g.
 Omaha- $1.85/g, down 2.7 cents per gallon from last week's $1.88/g.

Prices Sunday were 13.9 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago, and 17.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

The national average stands 15.6 cents a gallon lower than this time one year ago.
