MINNEAPOLIS (KWWL) -

Blair Walsh went 3 for 4 on field goal attempts Sunday. The one he missed will be remembered a long time in Minnesota. Walsh pulled a chip shot field goal wide left in the final 30 seconds allowing Seattle to escape with a 10-9 playoff victory.

Walsh had provided all of the scoring through the first 3 quarters, hitting from 22, 43, and 47 yards giving the Vikings a 9-0 lead going to the 4th.

Seattle scored the only touchdown of the game on a 3 yard strike from Russell Wilson to Doug Baldwin with 11:37 remaining. The Seahawks then capitalized on an Adrian Peterson fumble to take a 10-9 lead on a 46 yard Steven Hauschka field goal.

After a Minnesota stop with under two minutes remaining, the Vikings drove 52 yards to get Walsh in position for a 26 yard field goal with 26 seconds remaining. The result, however, would be a bad miss to the left allowing Seattle to run out the clock.
