Frontier Airlines adding 42 new routes

Denver-based Frontier Airlines is adding 42 new, non-stop routes, and is introducing them with fares as low as $39 one-way.

Most flights are scheduled to start in mid-April, but at at least six won’t roll out until May or June to accommodate delivery dates for some of the 18 new aircraft the carrier has on order.

None of these new flights will begin as daily service, opting rather for Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday scheduled routes; or Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday scheduled routes.

Frontier Airlines currently operates year-round out of Des Moines International Airport and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, and on a seasonal basis out of the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids.
