The Iowa Hawkeyes improved to 3-0 in conference play with a 77-66 win over Nebraska. The 19th ranked Hawkeyes (12-3) fell behind early 10-0 to the Cornhuskers but fought back in to take a 31-22 lead at halftime. Iowa outscored Nebraska 46-44 in the second half, getting huge production out of seniors Uthoff, who had a game high 25 points and Mike Gesell who chipped in with a double-double 22 points and 10 assists. Iowa 3-0 conference start is a first since the 2002-2003 season. Iowa's next matchup is a January 14th matchup with the Michigan State Spartans.
