The UNI Panther football team ready for their huge rematch against North Dakota State in the FCS Quarterfinal.

And fan's are also gearing up for the big game.

Student's have been cheering on their team all season long and they will being doing the same Saturday and that includes sticking to game day superstitions.

"So their kind of the lucky charm," explained Clair Collins.
For one fan, her game day traditions starts on Friday night.

"We always come to Friday After Class and we sit at the bar and every time I wear my Crocs, they seems to always do good," said Collins.

Yes you heard right, a pair of pink rubbery shoes could be the key to UNI's success.
And although they aren't a very popular fashion choice, she says its worth it for the win.

"I get made fun of all the time, but its like, school spirit," said Collins.

And with an 11 a.m. start to the game many of the bars like Beck's on the Hill will be opening up just a little early to make sure those fans are in their seats before the 11 a.m. kick off.

"It's going to be a fun game to watch for sure," said Brandon Kruse.

With the loss to North Dakota State earlier this year, fans are looking to get even.

"Its an other round of the playoffs, North Dakota State got us this year, but we are looking for a little revenge," said John Kitelinger.
They are confident UNI will get even.
"Defense wins championships and our defense is playing just like that," said Nasr Madar.
