DYERSVILLE (KWWL) -

The 4th Annual Project Linus Tie Fleece Blanket Making Day is set for Saturday at the Country Junction Restaurant in Dyersville.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The goal of the event is to make and collect 200 handmade blankets for local children who are sick, have experienced trauma or loss, or are in need of some extra love and warmth this holiday season.  Blankets made during the event are given to local hospitals, clinics, and human service providers to distribute.

Fleece blanket kits are $10-$15 and can be bought on site.  You can also purchase your own materials and bring them to the event.
