Med-Fit program benefiting people with a medical condition

The Med-Fit program provides care for clients following rehab and therapy services, pre-and post-surgical patients, and people with a medical condition looking for greater quality of life. 

We offer exercise and educational programs. Program benefits are increased strength and balance, increased range of motion, enhanced self-image, increased joint mobility, improved posture and gait, less fatigue.
Covenant Wellness staff will customize fitness and educational programs to enable participants to meet personal goals safely.

Programs can be tailored to a broad range of conditions such as:  Arthritis, Brain Injury, Cardiac Problems, Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, Mental Illnesses, Multiple Sclerosis, Neurological Disorders, Orthopedic Problems, Osteoporosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Pulmonary Problems, Spine Disease and Stroke.

“Cancer Rehab and Wellness” can help individuals through the physical challenges of cancer treatment and recovery.
“Cardiac and Pulmonary Wellness” provides rehabilitation care for people with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions.

“Balanced Bodies” is a program designed for individuals who have fallen or have a fear of falling and who want to improve their balance and mobility.
“Delay the Disease” is a fitness program designed to empower people with Parkinson’s Disease by optimizing their physical function and helping delay the progression of symptoms.
“Flex and Strength” is an introductory class specifically designed for individuals who have suffered a stroke and have right or left side hemiplegia (one side is paralyzed) and decreased mobility.

“Movement for Multiple Sclerosis” is a fitness program designed to reduce MS symptoms including fatigue, weakness, depression, and pain while increasing mobility, balance, cognition, and improvement emotional wellness.

“Stretch and Strengthen” is designed to help people with arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia and chronic pain.  You can expect increased flexibility and joint mobility, improved balance, increased muscle strength and range of motion, less pain and stiffness, a reduction in bone loss and an enhanced self image.


“Body Rock Boot Camp” is designed for boys ages 11-14 who need to increase activity levels to prevent early onset diabetes and hypertension, as well as other weight-related health issues.

The Wellness Center is having an open house beginning - on December 1 & 2.

  -6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  -11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  -4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.


If you’re not a member already, you can visit the open house and get a free membership through the month of December.

The free membership will expire on December 24, 2015.  Stop by one of the open house times to sign up for the free membership.
