IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa City police are investigating an armed robbery. It happened at a home in the 400 block of South Dodge Street around 1 a.m.

One female victim says she was hit in the head by the door when it was forced open. She was checked out at the scene but did not require further medical treatment.

The man with the gun is described as being in his early 20's, around 6' tall, and was wearing dark pants and a gray sweatshirt with the hood pulled tightly around his face.
