WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Along with several other police departments across eastern Iowa, the Waterloo Police Department is participating in No-Shave November.

For the month of November, officers will be allowed to grow facial hair. In order to do so, they must donate $50 to the American Cancer Society.

Officers must keep their facial hair neatly trimmed.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office is also participating, raising money for Waterloo Honor Flight. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is raising money for Eastern Iowa Honor Flight during No-Shave November,
