AMANA (KWWL) -

Investigators don't know what started the fire at the Amana Colonies Golf Club this morning, but they believe they know where it started.

The fire destroyed the clubhouse. Firefighters believe it started in the pro shop after 3 a.m.

Multiple crews were called in and they had to truck in water because there were no hydrants nearby.

No one was injured.

UPDATE: We have confirmed the fire has been put out and there are no injuries.

There is still smoke visible over a mile away from the location.

Crews from Amana, Oxford, Norway, and Fairfax all arrived on scene. Fire crews first showed up at around 3:40 a.m. and the fire was put out around 5:30 a.m. Iowa County Ambulance was also on scene.

The clubhouse was not near any main roads, so no roads had to be blocked off.
