The passenger, seen on video punching an Uber driver in Costa Mesa, California, is now jobless after being fired from his job as a mid-level manager for Taco Bell.

32-year-old Benjamin Golden was arrested last Friday for charges of Public Intoxication and Assault.

Golden was seen on a dash camera video hitting 23-year-old Edward Caban in the face.

A spokesperson for Taco Bell says Golden was fired from his position as a brand manager for the company.

Taco Bell also issued a statement on the matter saying, "Given the behavior of the individual, it is clear he can no longer work for us. We have also offered and encouraged him to seek professional help."
