CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

The University of Northern Iowa is set to host a study day Tuesday, November 3rd for high school students participating in the 2016 Iowa Academic Decathlon competition.

More than 200 students will travel from across Iowa to attend, with some coming from as far as the South Central Calhoun school district.

UNI faculty members will lead study sessions focusing on this year's decathlon curriculum, which includes ten academic areas: art, economics, essay, interview, literature, math music, science, social studies and speech.

Tuesday's sessions will include history, religion, literature and music reviews.

Each year, the overall area of study changes, and this year's topic is India.
