A face-lift can make patients look younger, but it doesn't do anything to help raise self esteem, according to a new report.
To compile the information for the report doctors at the New York Center for Facial Plastic and Laser Surgery surveyed 50 patients before and after a face-life procedure, most of whom were women.
The doctors found that typically patients felt the surgery made them look 9 years younger, but that didn't translate in to a better self-esteem for most of the participants.
