The Cyclones wasted no time early in the game as Mitchel Siech made one defender miss to put Denver up 7-0 with a 9 yard score.

Mason City Newman tried to fight back but the Denver defense was too tough up front.

The Cyclones continued to add to their lead with another Siech touchdown. Siech scored from 11 yards out as Denver took a 14-0 lead midway through the first quarter.

After another three and out from Mason City Newman, Denver didn't let up. Izaack Shedenhelm got in on the action with a nine yard score to extend Denver's lead to 20.

Mason City Newman looked to get on the board with a deep pass from Austin Eckenrod but he found Denver's Creed Krueger instead.

The Cyclones took advantage of the turnover with another Shedenhelm score from five yards out. This put the Cyclones up 28-0 over the Knights midway through the second quarter.

Denver blew out Mason City Newman 59-0 to advance to the second round of the Class A Playoffs.
